30 Years

Milestones.

ATRON Group began with the founding of Standard Controls in 1994 and was officially formed in 2017 through the acquisition by AssembleTronics. Built on decades of engineering and manufacturing expertise, ATRON continues to grow as a trusted partner across industries.

1994

Standard Controls, Inc. is founded in Dallas, Texas, specializing in the design and integration of custom industrial control systems. Over the next decades, the company grows its expertise and customer base in automation solutions.

2011

AssembleTronics LLC is established, offering contract manufacturing services for electro-mechanical assemblies, wire harnesses, and control panels.

2012

Standard Controls expands its capabilities by establishing Standard Fabrication, a precision sheet metal fabrication division to produce custom enclosures and components. This vertical integration enhances the company's control panel manufacturing and assembly services.

2016

Standard Controls launches the RhinoEXP product line of explosion-proof electrical enclosures for hazardous environments, marking its entry into specialized industrial enclosure solutions.

2017

AssembleTronics LLC (the predecessor to ATRON Group) acquires Standard Controls, Inc. along with its affiliated brands (such as Standard Fabrication and MotorStarters.com), consolidating them under the newly formed ATRON Group. This strategic acquisition officially creates ATRON Group and brings together decades of Standard Controls’ experience with AssembleTronics’ contract manufacturing operations.

2020

ATRON Group is selected by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory as one of eight U.S. companies licensed to manufacture the new VITAL ventilator for COVID-19 patients. This collaboration highlights ATRON’s advanced manufacturing capabilities and its contribution to a critical healthcare initiative during the pandemic.
